Zach-o is 4!!

Pirate theme this time, and as usual, overboard I went.

Here's a picture of the place settings, complete with DIY goody bag, name card, as well as a pirate bandana, earing, eye patch, and tatoo. :O)

And even the baby got dressed up for the occasion.

THE FOOD.... simple enough cuisine, but made special by their names :) Fish & chips, veggie swords, and coolest of all, Hotdog boats! Add a simple trapezoid on a skewer, and a little pirate flag on top- Ahoy mateys!

And we mustn't forget the pièce de résistance, the pirate cake pops. YUMMY!

Entertainment: Pin the sword on the pirate, courtesy of Disney Junior, a treasure hunt with cool pirate maps, and of course, the treasure chest pinata! And here is my cute little pirate, flexing and showing his tatoo. <3

A Sunny Sunday

Early Spring

When I returned from America at the end of February, we took a little day outing to... the beach :O) It was a little chilly, but beautiful sunny blue skies. And the cold temperature didn't stop these little vikings from playing in the water!


A proud 4-year-old has started mini-soccer training. He loves it and was so excited to be playing with so many friends. We had to go out and get him a real soccer outfit to play in. My, was he ever wanting to show it off!!
